Club Outing to Eastbourne – 29 June 2024
Following on from last year’s successful trip to Southwold, this year’s Club outing will be to Eastbourne Bowls Club, on the 29th June. We will leave by coach about 8am and arrive in Eastbourne later in the morning. The coach will drop us off in town, where there are plenty of shops and cafes, as well as the beach, pier, the Towner Art Gallery and a Redoubt fortress and military museum to see. Coincidentally, the Eastbourne Tennis finals is also taking place on this day. We’ll then go on to the bowls club for the match to start about 2pm. There will be a break for tea and biscuits and then a two-course meal to finish. We’ll aim to leave for home about 7pm.
The cost for the day will be £35 for players and £30 for guests. We need 32 bowlers and another 20 guests to make the trip viable, so please let me know as soon as possible if youare interested. This notice will also go up on the board at the Club for those without e-mail access.
